Sally Riley Speech and Language Therapy was established in 2017. We aim to help children develop their speech, language and communication skills and reach their full potential. We place a strong emphasis on tailoring our services to meet our clients’ needs. Our independent speech and language therapy services are provided to homes, nurseries and schools in Manchester, Trafford and Cheshire.
Sally Riley is the founder and owner of Sally Riley Speech and Language Therapy. Sally is a paediatric speech and language therapist with more than 17 years’ experience in the NHS and the independent sector. During this time, she has worked with children with a wide range of speech, language and communication difficulties in a range of settings including client homes, community clinics, and mainstream schools. When working in the NHS, Sally held an NHS leadership position with responsibility for delivering speech and language therapy services across South Manchester and was the Paediatric Hearing Impairment Specialist for the Central Manchester NHS Trust.
Sally is a qualified Team Coach, has worked as a Change Management Facilitator, and has been involved with the delivery of the MMU BSc (Hons) Speech and Language Therapy degree course, providing lectures on hearing loss.
As an independent therapist, Sally continues to offer assessment and therapy for children with a wide range of speech, language and communication difficulties and provides training for families/carers and professionals. She has extensive experience of writing detailed reports used to support Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) applications.
Sally is a member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP).
Sally is passionate about delivering an exemplary standard of care to her clients and is committed to providing evidence‑based interventions to ensure the best possible outcomes.
